Position: Supply Chain Management Professionals (Contract Analysts):

Responsibilities:
  • Focus on Contract preparation & vetting from a legal perspective to ensure that all Commercial, Legal arid Insurance requirements are adequately covered in company contracts and documents
  • Will be involved in the man­agement of the Addax Tender Board Secretariat


Required Experience/Qualifications;
  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement contracts and supply chain in the oil & gas in­dustry and membership of relevant professional body is de­sirable.



Position: Supply Chain Management Professionals (Purchasing Specialists):

Responsibilities:
  • Will purchase direct charge / stock materials as required by internal customers
  • Re­view purchase requisitions, process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.


Required Experience/Qualifications;
  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement contracts and supply chain in the oil & gas in­dustry and membership of relevant professional body is de­sirable.



Position: Supply Chain Management Professionals (Planning Specialists):

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Company’s compliance with the appropriate laws and guidelines from government, liaise with the government agencies for tender approvals, register vendors & maintain the registration list.


Required Experience/Qualifications;
  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement contracts and supply chain in the oil & gas in­dustry and membership of relevant professional body is de­sirable.



Position: Supply Chain Management Professionals (Shipping &Clearing Specialists):

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate shipping, importation and clearing of materials for the company.
  • Will also maintain contact with shipping agents within and outside Nigeria regarding movement and storage of materials.


Required Experience/Qualifications;
  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement contracts and supply chain in the oil & gas in­dustry and membership of relevant professional body is de­sirable.



Position: Supply Chain Management Professionals (Senior Coordinator) Nigerian Content:

Responsibilities:
  • Drives proactive compliance with the Nigerian Content Agenda and also ensure that Company’s tendering, contract­ing and purchasing procedures are favourable to local com­panies.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.

Vacancy Announcement: Social Performance Manager
Duration: 2 Years (With Possibility of Extension)
Location: Nairobi
The Association of Microfinance Institution of Kenya is a registered National Network for Microfinance Institutions with a mission to promote an enabling environment for microfinance in Kenya through advocacy and lobbying, capacity building, networking and linkages in a sustainable manner.
AMFI-K is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Social Performance Manager
Reporting to CEO, the SPM Manager will promote, implement and coordinate the SPM program in Kenya.
He /She will be required to assist MFIs to promote, sustain and implement the SPM program in order to improve transparency and enhance their capacity to innovate products that have greater social impact on the lives of clients and their families.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Implementation of SPM activities in Kenya.
  • Development of rational social performance management plan
  • Assist AMFI-K to identify and support MFIs that require support
  • Coordinate the local consultants in their support to the industry.
  • Monitor the provision of SPM technical assistance provided to MFIs to ensure that it is both timely and of high quality.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnership with other International Agencies interested in supporting social performance management and leverage their efforts in order to generate greater impact on the microfinance sector development in Kenya.
  • Ensure that project targets are met on timely basis.
  • Ensure timely financial and narrative reports to AMFIK and the partners.
  • Development of harmonized manuals to be used for technical support by the consultants.
  • Any other duties as maybe assigned by the CEO.
Academic Qualifications
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Sociology or Finance.
  • A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • Three to five years experience as a program coordinator/manager in a large institutions dealing with microfinance.
  • Experience in training, demonstrated ability in project management and monitoring
  • Experience and knowledge in SPM will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Hands on word, excel, power point, MS project and internet is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including capacity for proposal development is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and focus on priority.
  • Solid leadership and strategic thinking, experience and networking.
  • Forward looking.
  • Practical experience and training in SPM management tools and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different institutions and variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in training, listening, presentation, and learning facilitation.
Other Requirement
  • The position requires extensive travel both in Kenya and outside. A valid driving license is a requirement.

Our client, a firm dealing with fast Moving Consumer Goods is looking for a FMCG Sales Manager
Gross Salary: 80,000- 200,000 The  FMCG Sales Manager is responsible for providing on the ground leadership to maintain and grow our client’s prominent market presence in line with the organization’s vision of strong leadership positions across categories and markets.
The Jobholder will be responsible for providing strategic direction in the development of an efficient and
effective management with a view to growing and protecting volume sales, market share and profit, controlling and influencing of key retail outlets, making inroads in new markets and maintaining the preferred supplier status through customer service excellence.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the attainment of the brand volume and value objectives, distribution and visibility objectives and training and development of the distributor sales team in the region.
Of key importance will be the design and implementation of new sales channels in non-traditional markets in order to grow sales within existing markets. As a key member of the executive team, the Jobholder will work closely with the marketing, finance and operations functions to improve route-to-market efficiencies and trade marketing effectiveness.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager’s key focus, are as follows:
  • Research, brand positioning and product development.
  • Sales team leadership.
  • Distribution channel management.
  • Management reporting and strategy formulation.
Key responsibilities include: Research, Brand Positioning & Product Development:
  • Carrying out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
  • Managing research & development and new product development.
  • Developing ideas and creating offers for direct Customers.
  • Determining price points and discount rates for range of products being sold.
  • Analysing sales statistics to determine sales potential, inventory requirements and customer preferences.
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations and actively act as project manager for these opportunities.
  • Proactively developing the corporate image, reputation and brand of the compay.
  • Developing and maintaining visibility across all channels.
  • Consulting with department heads and other stakeholders to plan advertising and other campaigns.
  • Extensive monitoring of customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
Sales Team Leadership
  • Recruiting, training, coaching and motivating sales team.
  • Enhancing functional competence across all levels of in-house and distributor teams.
  • Managing sales targets on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Planning and managing sales resources according to agreed budgets.
  • Delivering of rewarding incentive programs and motivate exceptional success.
  • Managing the internal communications and awareness of the company’s direction, mission and objectives.
  • Ensuring clear and consistent communication between the Sales and Production team to ensure accurate delivery on targets.
Distribution channel management:
  • Establishing effective route-to-market strategies.
  • Developing and managing key account relationships.
  • Coordinating sales distribution by establishing sales territories and goals.
  • Monitoring actual distribution or movement of a product to the customer.
  • Advising stockists and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of the business.
  • Selecting and managing external agencies.
  • Researching and networking to expand the distribution network into new territories.
  • Exploring and researching new export markets and the governance parameters related to these to set up new distribution channels.
Management reporting & strategy formulation
  • Contributing to the formulation of policy and strategy,
  • Maintaining and enhancing administration and relevant reporting and planning systems.
  • Providing accurate financial and management information to leadership to enhance decision making and business processes.
  • Preparing budgets and approval of expenditures.
